My latest photoshoot Vs my first ever photoshoot… 6 months ago I decided to learn how to use a camera properly so I could start to document my little ones journey. What was a hobby quickly became a huge passion and I started to document other family’s precious memories. And I thought, if I’m going to do this for other family’s, hobby or not I’m going to do it bloody well. I’ve really invested in to this hobby of mine. I never for one second imagined how much goes into a photoshoot. From the prepping and ensuring you know how to work with natural light and angles to investing lots of time and love into every family I work with to ensure they are super comfortable in front of the camera so I can capture their authentic connections and then deliver something they will cherish forever. Then there are the hours of editing. I love this part just as much as the photoshoot, it’s such a technical skill that really challenges me. Looking at these photos taken just 6 months apart makes me feel super proud. I must also give a huge shoutout to @notlittleforlong who inspired me to pick up the camera and who’s training has been such a huge game changer for me, Mel you truly are amazing. A huge thank you to all of my wonderful family’s who have trusted me and been so incredible to work with. And to my family’s who have sessions booked in over the coming months, I look forward to creating some magic with you. Hannah xx
